Pregnancy, childbirth, adoption, surrogacy, and loss are all major life transitions. Continuing to chest/breastfeed, or exclusively pump, requires extra planning and support. Johns Hopkins’ Lactation Support Program helps make the transition back to work or study easier.

There are registered rooms across the Hopkins campuses, which are all equipped with hospital-grade pumps (Ameda Platinum or Medela Symphony).

Complete these steps to participate in the Lactation Support Program:

  1. Request lactation accommodations .
  2. Register to use a lactation room . After you register, you’ll get a confirmation email containing room amenity and access information.

Go to Lactation Support for more information.
